Francisco Kaiut is the creator and founder of Kaiut Yoga –a profound form of yoga with restorative benefits for chronic pain and injuries, for general aches and stiffness, for the inflexible and the hyper-mobile, and for the aging body. Francisco was inspired to create this Method from his need to manage his own chronic hip pain resulting from a childhood accident in which he was shot in the hip.

He describes his Method as yoga for the modern body and the modern mind. The modern body is far more sedentary than at any time in the past, and the modern mind is overwhelmed with stimulation and stress. Unlike other types of yoga, which focus on muscles, Kaiut Yoga works with the joints and the nervous system, providing mobility to the body and calm to the mind.

During his 30-plus year career as a chiropractor, Hatha yoga master and certified Iyenegar yoga teacher, Francisco also studied cranial sacral therapy and massage therapy, among other natural healing methods. He has drawn from all of these to develop the Kaiut Yoga Method.

Brazil is his home country, and he teaches and runs workshops there, as well as traveling to Europe and North America, spreading the word about his Method: that Kaiut yoga is truly for every age and every body type, not just the young and the flexible.
